How much of a road noise/exterior noise reduction did you notice after the deadening/block off plates? I want to upgrade some of my unleashed system speakers but I’m more interested in having a much quieter commute when the radio is on low volume

You should be able to do it with the parts in my list plus the new step pad. I have an extra intermediate hanger and hardware I’ll sell you so that’ll save you some cash as well.

Here is my parts list. Swap was completed on a 2022 super crew lariat 3.5 I opted for the corsa catback, part 21185blk (black tips). I have the intermediate hanger and hardware sitting in my garage if anyone else is wanting to try this. I bought an extra by mistake.

Is there any rhyme or reason to the acetone trick on the plastic trim piece in this kit? I tried it on mine that has a February 2024 build date and it doesn’t seem to work but I’ve seen others with a similar or same build date and they are able to wipe the black coating off with ease.
