I got a $2,500 PCO in my email last week. I thought about taking my equity and getting into a higher trim or a 2022, but the deals just don't make sense right now. I got 20% off MSRP on my 2021 STX. There's nothing out there even close to that now.
I went ahead and made a video on how to fix the floppy armrest. It takes about 2 minutes and costs 10¢. We can all argue about how a $40K-$80K+ truck shouldn't need this, or you can shut up and fix it real quick for cheap. If you found it helpful please like and subscribe!
Here's a quickie how-to. I like this feature, but it gets a little annoying turning on/off every 15 seconds under certain driving conditions. Don't forget to like and subscribe. Enjoy!
I see this question asked here all the time, so figured I'd make a quick video to show everyone. It literally takes 5 seconds. Don't forget to like and subscribe. Enjoy!
Finally arrived in the mail last week. I haven't gotten a chance to put it together yet, but I'm really looking forward to it. It's the only Raptor I can afford currently. Haha!
My truck has been nice and quiet too. Some people said they just needed to tighten the screws, but I figured since I had it apart, might as well add the tape.
I have seen this posted where people have explained it, and I've seen a post with pictures, but I haven't seen a video of it so I went ahead and made one. It's how to fix the rattle that comes from the driver and passenger side doors from the interior panels behind the side view mirrors. It only...
I’ve noticed my phone gets pretty hot sometimes too. I have a XR (upgrading this year) and I live in FL where the inside of the car is usually 110+ this time of year, so I don’t know how much is weather/age related. I’m using an Amazon 3’ lightning to USB A cable to charge it.
I was driving a 2013 Honda Pilot that we bought CPO when our second kid arrived. I saved enough money to pay it off, gave it to my wife, and got a killer trade on her CRV lease that wasn't due for another 6 months and picked up my F-150.
Anyone using one of these? https://autospringkits.com/product/2021-ford-f150-1-1-2-front-with-rear-3-4-leveling-kit/
It's a 1.5" inch front spacer and a 3/4" inch taller rear block and new U bolts. I had a 1 5/8" Auto Spring on my 2005 and was really happy with it. I have a 2WD STX and think the...
Are there any good halogen replacements that are brighter? I remember back in the day when silver stars were all the rage. I might have even put a set in my 2005. Are those still a good option? Have they gotten better or has someone improved the product, or did they all start making LEDs?
Thanks I have seen those. They look to be a little more involved than the ones I linked to, which I don't necessarily mind. It's just $70 vs. $330. I don't know if it's a case of "you get what you pay for" or just a huge markup on their part.
Saw these recommended in a F150 Facebook group, but as always I like to seek out more opinions. They seem to have good reviews on Amazon. Spare me the lecture about using LEDs in a halogen housing. I bought an STX and I want better lights. If I could swap in the legit LED housings without having...
This started happening to me the other day as well. Turning it off and on and turning the recirculate off and on seem to have fixed it the couple of times it’s happened.
It passed the water tight test too, and I didn't even install the tailgate weatherstrip, mostly because I don't know how long I'll keep it on and also I don't want a sticky mess if the weatherstripping is hard to remove.
Hit the highway today and happy to report it’s nice and quiet at speed. Got up to almost 90 mph on the interstate and there was just a little rippling of the cover. No noise at all. I’m pretty impressed with it for what the cost is.
I was contacted out of the blue by this company who saw my YouTube channel and offered to send me a unit for free in return for a review. It's got good reviews on Amazon, and is actually really nicely constructed. I expect it's much the same as any number of ~$200 soft covers. This one is a nice...
I got the Line-X Premium too. It's totally worth the cost. Line-X is a top-notch product. Having regular old Line-X in my 2005 F-150 and seeing how badly it faded after only 5 years when I removed my toolbox to sell it, I definitely wanted the UV protection of the premium. My dealer did it for...
