Every time you turn the truck off, it will give you the "Trip Summary" stats for that specific trip. But it is only there for a few seconds before the dash turns off. This might only be for Powerboosts but not sure, because mine has 4 data points: MPG, Time, Total Miles, Electric Miles
Yep - no idea why it is fading / turning kind of dusty white. Haven't really tried any products on it yet, but I am interested in hearing what might work.
This was sort of my mind frame, even though I'm nowhere near retirement and I still sometimes think "did I really just spend this much on a truck?".
My last vehicle was a 2012 Grand Cherokee that started to shit the bed around 120k miles. Needed a new steering rack, head gasket replaced which...
Went camping this past weekend, first trip since last summer when I hit a deer (only 15 days after owning the truck ). Nothing too crazy as far as off roading, but captured some great photos and had a nice relaxing weekend in the mountains. Used "Off Road" mode for the first time ever and...
490 / 26 gallon tank = 18.84 mpg
490 / 26 = 18.84 mpg
520 / 26 = 20 mpg
560 / 26 = 21.54 mpg
Using a King Soopers gas station in the Denver Metro area, their prices currently show:
85 octane = $3.89
87-89 (not sure what Midgrade is) octane = $4.15
91 octane = $4.40
So fill ups would be...
Just refueled the other day. Computer showed 19.9 mpg, but hand calc was 19.1 mpg. Its kind of weird because if I drive 10+ miles I almost always get over 20mpg, sometimes up to 25mpg per the computer. I also live in Denver so altitude is a factor, as well as having 34" BFG K02s.
Can you expand more on the tailgate comparisons? My 502a is loaded and I didn't really get a choice for options since it was the only one available, and I've been doggin the power tailgate option because it seemed like a waste of money. Maybe it wasnt?
No it won't. If you lock with the 2 bottom keypad buttons, the only way back into the truck is through FordPass app or the code.
Edit; Re-read and saw that you mentioned they could break the window. I guess that is true, so have to determine if you're in an area where that might happen...
Yea I love the keypads. Thats how I lock my truck every day (hit bottom 2 buttons together). I also use it to unlock the truck if I dont have the key in my pocket, and I lock my fob in the truck when I'm hiking / biking etc.
My buddy has a 5.5' bed and he's 6'2ish. He can sleep diagonally on the plywood platform he built above the wheel wells (with drawers built underneath in between), even with his gf (she's pretty small). He did say that he'd get the 6.5' bed if he had to do it again.
I've never noticed it being slow to heat during CO winter, and I have a Powerboost. One thing I have noticed is that the front windshield defrost is kinda weak as it leaves an ice patch almost right in driver's view. Seems like the vents aren't angled specifically to the driver's view area, and...
The long press did work in bringing up the Google assistant, appreciate that tip. Still wondering what is different between the old phone and the new phone though. Just weird that it worked by the short / single press on the old phone, but now it fumbles with the contacts. I can still short...
Hmm I didn't know there was a single press vs. long press, thanks. I can try that tomorrow, to see if it works. What I do know is that it worked with the Pixel a few weeks ago so I think it must have something to do with the Samsung
