In this case resetting the modules doesn’t work. Disconnecting the main battery negative terminal for 15 minutes will fix this issue. For those with PB that means also disconnecting the auxiliary battery as well
Got 10.1.0 a few days ago but now am unable to get any info when selecting Software Updates on the Sync screen as just get the spinning circle. Have had several key cycles and did quick Sync screen reset but no change
Anyone else seen this issue?
I got this, BCM -24.6.R, on my ‘22 today.
Seems odd since the description is exactly as the BCM OTA 24-PU0121-FTDI-FX I got in April for Battery Optimization.
Great write up @Snakebitten.
It’s been 3 weeks since BCM OTA 24-PU0121-FTDI-FX loaded and with only monitoring voltage & SOC via BT it is remarkable the improvement Ford released on the BMS. The amperage you reported is eye popping.
Update on BCM OTA 24-PU0121-FTDI-FX
Took a few less then 10 mile trips over the last 3 days since installing the update which would normally start reducing resting voltage and SOC per the BT device. But, something as changed and the 12v is showing 12.63v and 100% SOC this morning. I’ll...
It will take a day or so fir me to know if the 12 v SOC stabilizes higher than it normally does as I got the notice for this BCM update just after the truck had been in trickle charge after being away.
Knock on wood I’ve had minimal 12v issues and have been running a BT monitor since nearly day...
The desulfer procedure was for the Cat. @rugedraw will be able to see if they made any other changes to modules while it was in the shop but my experience at the dealers is when they see modules in FDRS that have updates pending they do none that are not associated with the Tsb or work being...
There are other AGM batteries that could fit in this space. Here is existing
with a little modification of the tray you could fit a battery with 2x the AH rating. For example.
