Ford recommendation:
For a 2024 Ford F-150 with the 5.0L engine, the recommended oil change interval is typically every 7,500 to 10,000 miles, or every 6 months, whichever comes first
On my TRX and Wrangler 392 it specifically says 6 months or 5k miles.
2023 TRX has ~6100 miles now
2024...
I know the feeling. I have 4 other vehicles and only go to the 3 days a week. I am hoping to make 8K miles on the F150.
Just keep a record, receipts, pictures. My local ford dealer charges ~$50-$60 for oil change and filter. I rather not use them either only because usually it is the least...
I got this error today. I had a 2013 F150. Never, even in pouring Texas Gulf Coast rain, had the message rear parking sensors are not available.
I have 4 other vehicles none of them have these Sensor not available errors.
Purchased new in December 2024 F150 XLT 302a FX4
CA & FL have massive Car Dealer / Insurance lobbies.
I think Toyota and Nissan have these blocks for all places, but, but, but there are easier ways around for folks not in CA or FL to get them at a discount.
As for granger: 100%
I purchased 3 vehicles in 2 years all 3 had extended warranties...
Also it is best to use a Fuel Additive / Cleaner before or close to an oil change as you can so any contaminants are removed. Also Some bottles will tell you only 1 bottle per 3000 miles or per oil change. This is to avoid "too much cleaning that could cause a clog". Also to avoid any liability...
2024 F150 XLT here. I would be prefect. I work in the Oil Industry and can put the Bed Liner through it paces hauling heavy Compressors and instrumentation for the site.
I also have my on Property Management company, where I carry everything from building supplies to cleaning supplies (3...
I would have added the mirrors if we could keep the 360 Camera view. No biggie now. I am fine since I don't fold them now. I just take it slower parking in the garage. The Payload was the biggie. I will be using this as the work truck, weekend HD/Lowes/garden center runs. Payload is almost 1900...
For me it was an easy decision. To get an XLT....I did not order, but the discounts were the highest on the XLTs...I do like the payload numbers. I miss power folding mirrors, leather ventilated seats, and HD radio.
So who ever Ford is buying these from have terrible Quality Control. Do we know who it is? I can send them a bill for my 15 minutes and my bill rate for their shoddy work. :D
I am sure this has been mentioned several times. I decided to check the fuse box. So today. I seated almost every fuse. Some were barely in. Is this done by Machine or by the people on the assembly line? But for those that just picked up their trucks, if you are getting rando codes. check the...
I may pull them off and I swear it looked different than what I remember ordering, but the company I ordered from has a missing link now....
I am with you maybe take these off and try again or go black to match the BAP look.
I am going to take them off. Since the vendor is no longer around...
