I had a 2017 F150 with a 5.0. Now I have a 2019 with the 3.5. The Lariat I just ordered in Sept will have a 5.0. Both are fantastic engines, I just prefer the 5.0. I hope you love your truck.
Update - On 9/11/21 I ordered a 2021 Lariat. I received notice today from my dealer, Ford will be converting my order to a 2022. They stated I should be receiving an email from Ford regarding it shortly. I'll post a copy of the email.

Thanks so much for the insight, very much appreciated. Grtaz on your Tremor...look forward to more pics.
This is the first F150 I ever ordered, but my third F150 ownership. When I ordered the truck, the sales manager said...It could take 6-8 months, but I wouldn't be surprised if it was here...
2022 is coming quick and they have thousands of 2021's in parking lots waiting for chips....plus thousands of orders. They will have to ship them overseas.
I ordered a Lariat a week ago. The dealer told me I could wait up to 8 months for delivery...but then said he wouldn't be surprised if it's here before the end of the year. Odd comment. I'm expecting the worst, hoping for the best.
