I am having issues opening the Ford Widget. When I click it, it transmits for a second, and then does nothing. I also have deleted the Scriptable app and reinstalled. Same results. How can I eliminate all background script/widget files and start over? Thanks Ken

I do not think so. But I would recommend checking with an aftermarket sound specialist/business. the modification would be in setting up the audison dsp. In my 2013 the signal was pulled from existing audio output. This way existing truck controls work. The output signal fed into audison...

Last week my dealer resolved the 1.7.1 Sync update failure. Now, Sync is updated and Auto Update is no longer grayed out. Now, the Widget no longer shows the Sync version, and OTA Update data still shows the 1.7.1 failure. Is this correct? Will missing and incorrect information remain...

The dealer started yesterday approx 1:30. He called and said he was just starting and had to run to Best Buy and buy wiring adapter. He called me this morning at 9:30 and said it was done. My guess on time -- 4-5 hours.

Agree. It is not even applicable to the failed 1.7.1 update. Don't know how the topic of BC even came up.

I inquired to my selling dealer. He told me OTA 1.7.1 had failed twice.

Just got back from AutoNation. The service manager attempted 2 manual updates. Both failed. He is contacting Ford to determine next steps. He said he would need Ford authorization for APIM replacement. I will update as updates are received.
