I had my truck at the dealer yesterday and was looking at a 2022 that just came in. It has retained everything the 21’s had I’m up in Canada also. So it seems it’s true about the Canadian models.
All depends on the dealers and how quick they put their orders in. I used to be a parts manager at the Mazda dealer for 12 years and when recalls came out that you needed parts ordered you would have to manually order them. And a lot of times if you didn’t ordered them right away they would go...
I’m having mine done Friday with some other work. I was in 3 weeks ago to have a deal leak looked at and they mentioned they would do it the same time they replace the transfer case rear output shaft seal.

But I did find this on the Mache site.
It doesn’t say anything about not being able to turn updates in etc. as I have never seen a failed update notification even though it has essentially. Maybe they are going to have a OTA and this is just for the dealers if someone has a issue...
Mine shows failed in the widget but I haven’t never seen a failed message on the sync screen. Strange almost reads as if they will have a OTA fix as it say “if they are still experiencing OTA update not successful message in March”
So really we wait I guess.
I feel ya. Thing is probably 95% of owners either don’t know about that option menu and even if they saw it wouldn’t know what I meant or wouldn’t even care. But I still agree a little bit of communication would be nice.
Mine did it yesterday. The only other time was when it was trying to get the 1.7.1 update which failed about a month ago. It was queued to download again yesterday and the screen went messy again. Did a reset and fine. Looks like the update failed. But it seems for me at least it only happened...
