Thank you. I am a sucker for monotone. I had a 2018 that was Magnetic and had the color matched wheels. I'm over the brushed/chrome features my current truck has, I want to get back to painted everything.
Well, this morning I was granted access to the new truck on Fordpass. I can start it if I want, and I can see it's location but the tracker hasn't updated. That is weird. Looks like it's currently at the Ford test facility in Allen Park.
Ford
Diane is who I chatted with earlier, she even used the same words, "which is great news." She then proceeded to tell me nothing but bad news... Truck is off site, ETA is being updated etc... I hope your timeframe is correct, that would give me some hope.
Another day of no update... Chat tells me my truck has been built and sent offsite but it's still "in production". My excitement level for a new truck is going lower every day. At this rate I won't even want the damn thing by the time it finally ships.
I always use Waze. It has up to date traffic information and can sometimes even tell you when there's police up ahead. The Ford navigation is OK but having a subscription fee it doesn't make any sense when there are better options out there that are free. Just my humble opinion.
I also have a 702A on order that has been "in production" since 2/28. Blend date is 2/27. Tracker has not updated since the end of February. Seeing yours on the move makes me hopeful that mine will be finding its way onto a transport truck very soon.
Got on Ford chat again this morning, told me my truck is still "in production" with a "pending ETA"... Original ETA was yesterday 3/14. Basically I have no clue when to expect my truck at this point. And of course the chat agent doesn't have any information, the dealer doesn't have any...
My ETA was today, too. Just had a chat conversation with Ford who told me there's no update and the ETA is now unavailable. No clue what is going on with it so the waiting in the dark continues. Incredibly frustrating.
Spoke to my dealer this morning since my ETA date is today, 3/14. Was told it is unlikely to show up today since it still shows "sent off-site" on their end and it usually shows "produced" then "released" when it is shipped. I know others have had ETA dates come and go, just makes me wonder why...
Mine has shown in production since 2/28 and through Ford chat I was told that it has been sent off-site and the ETA to the dealership is tomorrow 3/14. I am not counting on it coming tomorrow but if it does I will certainly post an update here. Fingers crossed
It isn't just us, I have a couple of really good friends that work at and manage a Ford dealership and the communication they receive from Ford is just as bad as what we receive. They literally don't know when vehicles will show up on their lot, they said they know when they look out the window...
