The factory wheels are likely clearcoated so that they don't tarnish. The repair certainly looks good, hopefully it'll hold up for a while before it oxidizes.

I've had my truck exactly one year from yesterday, my lifetime average is 19.5mpg running mostly 87 octane. Same drivetrain as what you have ordered. I've had a few longer trips with averages around 22mpg if the speeds are kept between 50-65mph. Overall I'm happy with the fuel economy.

I think its rated for 300lbs. Undercover says it will handle any snow load (relevant for me up here in Northern NH).

I'm running an Undercover ArmorFlex tonneau cover with the Bedrug classic full bedliner and couldn't be happier with either.
