That sucks. I would be making sure Ford customer service has all of this information in thier system. Make sure some details don't go missing from the dealer to Ford by accident.
Best of luck to you as well.
I would not worry too much about it. I am certain that Ford is going to come out with a reprogram or something.
This vehicle is just a blast to drive! It is just so good.
Do XLTs have a slippery mode?
If they do, I would think that the calibration would adjust the regen mode under deceleration, like it must do with the 4wd models.
If they don't, I don't know what the answer would be.
I don't have a diagram of the regenerative braking system. That being said I have spoken to the technician that was working on my truck and he explained it like this.
The rear wheels have alternator like motors on each wheel. They are controlled by a built in clutch that engages when under...
Things are looking up. This was 10 plus miles, combination of around 7
miles hwy and 3 miles city. Using normal mode and doing the speed limit. 60 mph on hwy and 40 mph city.
I like this,. Regular gasoline 87 octane. Next week is premium week.
Interesting, with the Ford Pass app could it be causing your issue?
Were you able to manually start the vehicle like the app suggested?
Can you turn off deep sleep mode in the settings somewhere?
Yes, I think it is more to do with warm up and using the Generator. I turned mine off not sure if it helps but I don't think it idles as high if that function is on.
Haven't had to fill up yet. I have only put 2 tanks of fuel in the truck. I have 2500 km's on it so the next tank will happen this weekend.
It cost me $138 to fill the last time. I put in 110 litres @ $1.25 per litre.
My 2018, 5.0 would hold 144 litres and in 2019 it cost me $180.00 to file the...
I leased my PB, I will keep it for 2 years and trade it in. Maybe for another PB. The mileage is very good especially if you run a combination of city and hwy miles. Definitely close to advertised 24 mpg.
Just hwy, average around 23.5 mpg, it's about 2 - 3 mpg better than my 2018 5.0 at 65 mph...
I had the alarm issue and screen staying on issue. I took it back to the dealer and they reprogrammed the BCM which fixed both problems. No alarm issues now and the screen is off. No dead battery problems.
I would think that this update will solve the problem. It did mine.
Yes, I would have thought that the 30 A wiring etc, would be standard.
I was thinking that it would be just a new rear interface and reflash of the computer. Unplug some connections, and plug new ones into the unused plugs.
I am not personally interested, I have a friend who was looking at...
Had my truck at the dealership yesterday, they reprogrammed the alarm system. Apparently the sensors were too sensitive and if the wind shook the truck it would set off the alarm. The alarm system reprogram also fixed the screen and ambient lighting staying on.
