Do XLTs have a slippery mode? If they do, I would think that the calibration would adjust the regen mode under deceleration, like it must do with the 4wd models. If they don't, I don't know what the answer would be.

Things are looking up. This was 10 plus miles, combination of around 7 miles hwy and 3 miles city. Using normal mode and doing the speed limit. 60 mph on hwy and 40 mph city. I like this,. Regular gasoline 87 octane. Next week is premium week.

Interesting, with the Ford Pass app could it be causing your issue? Were you able to manually start the vehicle like the app suggested? Can you turn off deep sleep mode in the settings somewhere?

Yes, I think it is more to do with warm up and using the Generator. I turned mine off not sure if it helps but I don't think it idles as high if that function is on.

I had the alarm issue and screen staying on issue. I took it back to the dealer and they reprogrammed the BCM which fixed both problems. No alarm issues now and the screen is off. No dead battery problems. I would think that this update will solve the problem. It did mine.

Had my truck at the dealership yesterday, they reprogrammed the alarm system. Apparently the sensors were too sensitive and if the wind shook the truck it would set off the alarm. The alarm system reprogram also fixed the screen and ambient lighting staying on.

They fixed my alarm with an update and that has turned off my screen and ambient lighting. All is well, now to put some miles on this.
