@rugedraw Can an update (like the DSP) come through without notification or record under updates? I’m just wondering. I don’t think I’ve gotten it yet since my volume is still AFU but??‍♂️

My last truck was a 2019 1500 etorque, honestly, it wasn’t nearly the headache this one has been. It was a big Horn without OTA ability though ??‍♂️

Has anyone received the DSP update that’s supposed to fix the volume from the 6ch OTA SNAFU? Did it work?

OK, looks like I finally got a phantom update. Bright side: it’s been about a month??‍♂️. Maybe it means I’ll get the dsp update soon.

Factory reset the head unit. Set it all back up, including ford connect (had to log out/in of app to make that work). That got rid of phantoms for me. I’ll see, after I get another update if it sticks

Yeah, but my APIM froze and rebooted during that time. Especially while towing??‍♂️

2 questions: 1. Were you towing anything plugged into your tow outlet? 2. Did/Does your backup camera freeze and blurt through your radio?

@rugedraw Since I did the Factory Reset (and had to reconnect Ford Connect) on 4/15, I have not gotten any phantom updates nor any IPC resets upon start. I also have received no actual updates but that’s hardly an indicator of anything? @Henfield This happens from time to time. I noticed it...
