Have a 16ft Airstream with a GVWR of 3500lbs. Currently tow with an X5 that gets the job done for short trips/destinations. Longer duration and distance destinations require more gear and supplies for me, the wife and the one youngster...there's no payload left in the X5 after tongue weight...

After a few threads of payload stickers and comments can I deduce that my order of a Lariat 501A PB 4X2 with power tailgate, and trailer tow (not max tow), will have a payload around 1600-1700#'s. Could it be any higher?

Awesome..I knew it was a positive gain but not that much. I never go off-roading...and will use primarily for around town driving and pulling a small Airstream. I'd get rid of the tailgate if I could but I am not as nimble as I used to be.

Sales person sent me this pic/video. I asked for payload sticker...he said the vehicle is locked and the manager who has the key left with it. I'm sure there's a reason. With those options I'm guessing 1450-1600 at best.

Sorry if I missed it but after the fix...does the fan still stay constantly on or did seating that connector correct it so the fan only works when it needs to (hits a certain temp). Pro power being on all the time makes some sense but not the the fan especially if nothing is plugged in.
