We took our F-350 to CarMax for an in-person appraisal. An hour later, we walked out with a printed offer valid for 7 days. Good thing because our dealer initially offered us $4K less until we showed them the CarMax offer.
So even though our truck is not due to arrive in WA until December 2, we went to our dealership last Thursday with a quote from CarMax for our F-350 to negotiate the trade-in value. We ended up trading in the old truck and signed all of the purchasing and financing paperwork. This way my husband...
Thanks for posting this screenshot! Yesterday my salesman texted saying he didn’t think they get this information. Today I’m heading to the dealership to find someone who knows where to look…
Any chance you know specifically where the dealer finds this report? I received a reply from my sales guy after I asked for a copy of the vehicle activity report. He said that he can only check the status and doesn’t think there’s an option to see the rail info.

All three trackers just updated. Shipment date: 11/8, Transit: 18, ETA End Date: 12/2.
18 days from 11/8 puts it on Black Friday. Think Ford will be generous and offer a Black Friday incentive lol?? ? ?
Any idea how close the plant is to the rail yard? Do they transport them on a carrier to the yard? Mine was built on 11/7 but is awaiting shipment so wondering if it’s still at the plant or if it’s at the rail yard.
Most of us didn’t get results for 48 hours after our blend date, so maybe you’ll get news tomorrow. What does the Mach-E tracker say?

Take a break from checking the trackers and watch the three different videos in the article linked below. It’s from 2019 but I’d bet the process is the same. Pretty cool to watch how our trucks are being built at Dearborn...
