  1. How much is your truck payment?

I am one of 3 partners in a relatively successful business. We pay ourselves once per quarter so the whole "monthly" line of budgeting is not how I live my life. Especially when business is slow I may not pay myself. I usually finance long term for a low payment to have good flexibility and...
  2. Has anyone taken apart a Regular (non work surface) center arm rest?

Considering how easy the work surface swap seems based on a video I saw, I am curious what other after marker console accessories will come about overtime. Extra storage, larger work surface area, etc.
  3. Pedestrian Alert System - Anyone else annoyed by it?

It's meant to be an annoying sound so that a pedestrian will notice it and look up. Lot's of truck owners live in suburbs or rural areas so I think we all believe it's unneeded and I get it. But if you've lived in a big city at any point in your life you'd realize just how clueless most...
  4. 5.0 vs 3.5

Having driven European and Japanese cars most of my life, the 3.5 EcoBoost feels more natural to me. I think the V8 will feel more natural if you've owned lots of trucks in the past. They both drive extremely well, I don't think you could go wrong with either.
  5. Dealerships adding $5000 market adjustment?

If the dealers around me were doing that I'd just drive or fly out of the area to a better dealer once I found what I wanted online.
  6. Has anyone driven 21 w/5.0L, is there a dash indicator for the cylinder deactivation?

Not sure why every is so hostile about cylinder deactivation, it's a proven technology that's been around for decades at this point with other brands. There's about 9999 other things that can go wrong with all the tech stuffed in these trucks, I wouldn't worry about cylinder deactivation.
  7. Need HELP, Anyone who ordered in June, July, August and has some production status or at least their VIN number

Ordered an XLT 302A SCREW late June, and I have a VIN and build date of 9/13. My dealer told they've been seeing a recent trend where the XL and XLT's, including their own dealer stock seem to be moving a lot faster than the higher end models. I was thinking of ordering a 501A last week and...
  8. Need some engine input

Coyote V8 sounds cooler. It's perfectly ok if you buy it for this reason, I love the sound of V8's as well and almost got a Coyote for this reason. 3.5 EcoBoost pulls more and it's noticeably quicker. They are reliable, plenty of people out there with 250k+ miles on them, just use quality oil...
  9. Traded a 2021 xlt for a 2021 lariat

I've got a fully loaded XLT on order and part of me wonders if it'd just be better to order a basic optioned Lariat instead, it's practically the same price. It's annoying to think that I will have adaptive cruise control and 360 cameras on an XLT, but no basic things like memory seat buttons...
  10. Are clear bras worth it?

Do clear bras still have the sun fade issue? I had a 2008 BMW 335i that sat out in the high desert for about 4 years (living in an apartment, before I bought a house with a garage) and when I peeled the dealer installed clear-bra off because it was starting to degrade, there was slight sun fade...
  11. Huge decision soon and I need some serious help!

5L vs 3.5 is really down to personal preference. I have owned a lot of foreign cars so I like having the turbo charger, as it's pretty normal for me and I know (from experience) that you need to change your oil on schedule with a boosted vehicle. I could see a lot of traditional truck buyers...
  12. Am I going to regret the 26-gallon tank?

Hello! New to this forum. I ordered a 21 F-150 XLT, Supercrew 5.5 foot bed a couple weeks ago with the 3.5L Ecoboost. Got the 302A, FX4, and Trailer Tow (not the max) packages. Expecting delivery sometime in the Fall. I went with the standard 26-gallon tank when ordering, I didn't think much of...
