My fun haver looks like my kids and wife now. I keep contemplating building or buying another toy but the time vs money invested always pushes me to say no.
Spending 60K-180K plus insurance for something I may only get to use for 4-6 hours a month isn't worth it....I would have smacked someone...
My insurance (commercial policy) for a 1/2, 3/4 or 1 ton truck won't change is $2368 a year. Keep in mind that my coverage is 500k+ on bodily injury, property damage, UI, Medical with $500 deductible.
I have a 2024 Elevation 3.0L w/premium package and max trailering package which I had to take a flight to buy. I hate the HDMI exhaust tips so clean bumper and 3.73 gearing was a plus. The engine is absolutely outstanding. Banks iDash is needed IMO to see important data because GM doesn't have...
If Ford continues the path they are on, they will loose a large share of truck sales. Quality is continuing to get worse. I've seen more turnover in dealership staff in the past 12 months than any other time in the past 15 years and for me personally I would rather have a solid relationship than...
Turn off motion for the alarm and see if that helps. If it continues then most likely it needs a BCM update or new BCM all together.
It could be something very minor like an insect inside the cabin that moves at night, bad ground(s), if you have the twin panel moonroof be sure to close the cover.
I have a 24 GMC 3.0L right now. I sold my 23 6.7 HO because I didn't need a 3/4 ton anymore. I miss being in a Ford as GM seats are uncomfortable and the infotainment/bose is the worst of any truck I have had.
The engine is great, it does get great fuel economy. Ive had no problems. Fit &...
Just because Ford states it will tow 10,000lbs doesn't mean that it's going to be easy to do it. 8 mpg would be great if towing that much weight with a F-150.
I don't think adding any of that is going to add 1 mpg, I've got 24 mpg + mixed but I am around 21.1mpg lifetime. I have noticed that...
I can't believe I am getting my second 2023 F-150 before some of you take delivery on one. I don't understand how Ford's order selection goes but its beyond FUBAR'd.
Ive also been on the never ending wait for the 2022 Raptor I had and it was a 800a, when it was a thing. I had an XL regular cab...
I had a 2022 and a 2022 refresh Silverado 1500. I know the 6.2 pretty well and it would have been my go to except it wasn't available, the trucks I had were diesel. Don't run 87 in it!
The center console shifter is something else. It's backwards and I never thought the way it was designed was...
The adaptive learning strategy is for the most part, adapted to the way I drive.
Using hand calculated mileage with mixed driving the small gain in fuel economy isn't worth the potential for problems that could occur from a business stand point. The 5.0L I ordered could burn a quart of oil every...
I am trading my 2023 PB for a 2023 5.0L.
The PB has more power, a generator and will average about 2-3 more mpg in mixed conditions for me. I do not like the transition from electric to gas and the momentary hesitation to and from, especially at a stop.
I've yet to see before and after track runs or draggy times in videos. I really prefer apples to apples comparisons before and after with same fuel type. I know there is room for optimization but not as much as claimed.
Neither company will turn off the CEL light due to the EPA
My 5.0 order was shipped. I received an email this morning about 3 days after it showed "shipped" on order tracker.
The Powerboost is no doubt a great truck for most people. I just don't like the transition from electric to hybrid mode, especially the delay if needing to turn left or right...
