We've used these on the fleets. American made, not Chinese and appear to address all the valve problems. Not cheap though. You get what you pay for.

You're 100% right Bcat. And the only clue to this in Ford's somewhat useless three-page instructions is where they tell you to cut the flooring with a "serrated blade". Obviously the paper-thin rubber needs no serrated blade, but the jute padding does.
You cut the slots through the rubber as...
Here in the northeast, these nuts rust in about ten years onto the bolts if no anti-seize is used. Then when you try loosening the bolt, the cage nut breaks loose and spins round-n-round and you need a Sawzall or grinder to cut the bolts off. I always use the nickel stuff.
If you use opt...
Here where they use salt on the roads, anti-seize is a must for anything that's exposed and has to be removed ten years from now. Just put a dab on the threads... You'll be thankful when the bolts just spin right off ten years from now...
My 2023 came with a single USB Data Jack in the dash under the radio. I'd like to connect a Vais Sirius module inside the dashboard. It must plug into the USB port. I don't want this to show externally and I don't want to occupy the only USB jack continuously.
Can anyone suggest how I can add...
On the Expeditions they are under the console. I swapped the console for a jump seat and the jump seat didn't have the bracket for it, so I was wondering how the F-150s handled it. Now I know.
Thank you.
Here in New York, a comprehensive claim against your insurance policy would cost you a $1,400 annual surcharge for five years. Cheaper to pay out of pocket.
I did note that the F-150s have larger air bags than the Expeditions.
F-150 steering wheel airbag has a 14" radius vs. Expedition with a 9.8" radius.
F-150 glove box bag is 29" high x 30.5" wide vs. Expedition with 25.6" high x 25.6" wide.
If you are removing a standard jump seat for whatever reason, just take the two screws out of the bottom tray, pull the tray out and have at the four bolts mounting the brackets to the floor.
The SSV EL comes without a console or seat, so I need some harness to reach the back plugs. Guess I can use any one with the right plugs and splice it. But there should be one made specifically for F-150 Crew Cabs with only the two back plugs that runs up under the dash to the dashboard jacks?
This is somewhat technical. I'm assuming the jump seat F-150s with air bags have two in the dash for the passenger and driver. Is the jump seat passenger covered by these? I also assume that the middle buckle senses when someone is sitting in the jump seat.
Anyone know if the Restraint...
Here's the 2023 Expedition XL with the jump seat installed. Now I have to find a middle seatbelt buckle. Seems like the seat has no wiring in it for an occupancy sensor or a belt tensioner. Not sure if any of them have that on the F150s as I only have the Expedition and its wiring diagram...
Anyone give any thought to how the airbags are involved with the jump seat? I know there's an indicator that will check to see if the belt is buckled. Is there a sensor that tells the Restraint Module if the seat is occupied..?. And it looks like Forscan can be programmed for these. But I'm...
