I’m not following. Do you have a work surface? What pin are you needing? There is no pin 2. It’s either pin 1 that’s the signal wire and pin 3 that goes to ground.
No I do not , there is no option in forscan to disable this pin 1 is gnd 2 goes somewhere? Where exactly does it go?

I suspect that pin 1 is grounded, through a switch, when the work surface is closed. Maybe someone can post the electrical diagram on here just to check the circuit. Pin 2 isn't used.

Has anyone found the correct settings, if it's possible to be able to use the left and right mirror spot lights and the truck bed light buttons while moving, or at least at a speed like 25-30mph? I understand they don't want you to use them on the road but I've had times it could have been handy driving slow through my neighborhood (looking for my dog that got loose). It would be great for delivery drivers also....

I believe u need buy a bypass harness that make the switch hot all the time. Don’t think it’s a forscan change.

Ah bummer I thought for sure I'd be able to make the change sense it was speed related. I was hoping I could simply modify the speed threshold so it was enabled at a different speed.

I really wanted to do mine too,but no such luck. I know there are a few videos out there on tapping into the hot wire in the harness To make the switch hot, not sure who makes it but there is also s jumper harness sold to do the same thing with out pulling the plug apart . One of my friends got the harness awhile back for his f550 and it work great…
