Rubbing sound while backing

Hello all. I have 12000 mile 5.0 super crew fx4 2025 lariat. after driving and I go to back in a parking spot I turn the wheel all the way to the right I hear a rubbing sound. If I pull up with the wheel still to the right and back up nothing. But if I drive straight for a short distance it will repeat. Has this been reported before? I searched but must not have worded it right.

Your inner fender has a smaller more flexible piece attached to it, that’s probably what’s rubbing… Rubbed on my ‘25 Tremor, I zip tied it back to solve the problem

Rubs on my 22 as well, you’d think Ford would have fixed it by the 25s.

Check the plastic like mentioned, or the lower plastic valance. If you recently added larger tires, check crash bar.

Rubs on my 24 XLT also.

Same thing on my ‘24. The wheel well liner plastic piece had warped outwards or something, took a heat gun to it to warm it up a little and shape it away from the tire. Seems to have fixed it.

Mine is the same (‘24 with the original tires) and it rubs on the front wheel wheel liner. Like I said, you can take a heat gun to nold it back and that solves the issue. If you want I can send pictures later of the area that was warped out and rubbing

Mine does it too. Stock vehicle. I’ve yet to do fix described in this post.
