After I drive some miles on the highway going 70 mph for maybe 10 miles or so- when going back on roads around town going under 50mph my ride quality seems worse. I feel like a “buzzy” feeling in my steering wheel and gas pedal. Seems to go away with a few miles of around town miles. It’s relatively minor not like a strong buzz but definitely feels different.

anyone else have this?

It can be a ton of things and without details other than what you provided its hard to tell. One thing that comes to mind is the 10R80 torque converter shudder.

Also due to their size, ultra soft compound AT tires can slightly deform in cold climates. Essentially they are warmed up from driving and when you stop or slow down, they can become flat spotted due to uneven rapid cooling. Eventually after driving for a while they will round out again. Do you live somewhere cold?

Could be your air pressure was up from all the highway driving.

Tires warm up during highway driving and pressure in the tires goes up as a result. Check your tire pressure.

I’ve actually felt something similar after longer highway runs. Once I slow back down, there’s a light “buzzy” feeling in the wheel and pedals that goes away after a few miles of town driving.

Could be related to tire heat/pressure changes or a slight balance or driveline vibration that only shows up once everything’s warmed up. If it gets worse, might be worth checking balance and alignment. What tires are you running?

The stock 275/60/r20. Maybe the tire thing everyone is saying makes sense. If I drive to work (highway driving is 2nd half of trip) I don’t really feel it. However going home (highway is first half of trip), I feel it when I’m close to home. It stays like that for maybe 15 miles or so or maybe upwards of 30 minutes. Goes away the next time I drive the truck. I don’t think it’s any type of shudder, not really that sensation. Seems to be related to speed, not how warm everything is. I can drive for an hour of backroads and the truck is fully warmed up and it won’t do it, but even like 10 min of driving over 65 mph will do it.

to be fair, I seem to notice every vibration in this truck, especially through the gas pedal-, from rough pavement to harder acceleration to the transmission always wanting to be in the highest gear possible—- I feel it all in the gas pedal. I feel like if the gas pedal assembly was made better, I would feel 90% less of any of these vibrations
