I took my truck back in after the latest TSB failed to fix dead pedal. The service technician wrote a snarky statement that the transmission is working as designed and that I don't know how the transmission works on a hybrid truck.

I did not say a word and left the $!@#ing dealership. While I might have felt better tirade the service desk person in the moment, that person didn't write the words. I am going to wait until the temps drop to be able to recreate the issue on demand. It's going no where until I can reproduce it in front of them.

I hear you, but the fact is I can't reproduce the issue on demand. Service manager is going to defend his guy who is writing what he can prove. I'm not wasting our collective time over grammar and sentence structure. I have no doubt that when they see it, they will do something.

I am going back when it gets colder and the issue is reproducible. I have the factory extended warranty so I have time and miles left.
