Man…that is hugely helpful. Thank you! Doing this service next week and haven't found these specifics. My dealer literally wouldn't do it with 40k miles. Said it was too soon and was highly NOT recommended.
Unfortunately FB is killing off the forums. I love the forums format, the disorganized chaos of FB means its nothing but same new-guy questions all the time.
Back on topic for tuned F150’s, Ive always leaned toward an earlier SP interval, usually at 2/3 of suggested, or every 40k miles, for...
This is fantastic! I assume this is just a layover plywood/OSB platform…or did you use any seat mounting anchors?
Also, I made a foam blocker/cover for the driver dash guages as they are WAY too bright and cant be shut off in the evening. 1” foam worked very well.
Wind noise used to drive me crazy on Ham Radio antennas. I ended up wrapping them with cord and heat-shrink tubing over the coil. Dead silent afterwards.
If you take inspiration from the factory radio antenna on your crossbars, you’ll get rid of it…but you may not prefer the aesthetics.
Tried to find and aftermarket solution, came up dry. Wanted a way to take 1-2 long guns without them banging against each other. I also didn’t like the pressure on the optics with the factory contours.
Actually sourced the foam from packing material from a new toilet. Easily shaped with a...

Concur with the trailer fault. It may be the chimes that provide low overpass or other trailer obstacle warnings. They alert without any dash notification.
Its helpful if you have the Ford nav screen up so that you can spot them and correlate with any chimes (to rule out trailer obstacle...
2x failures already. I feel like we solved this engineering problem 20 yrs ago: extend the shaft 1” longer and put a 36mm nut on it. How is this not a recall yet???
Check your axle bolts if you have the 3/4 float axle. The noise will sound like a baby pterodactyl after a while, particularly under slight electric accel/decel. It gets worse over time.
Lost my second bolt today at 16k. First at 10k. Scratching my head on why this cheesy bolt was used. IRS/FWD drive axles have used a threaded axle and 36mm nut for years without issue. Unreal that this is the HD’ist axle you can spec on this truck and its so fragile.
I am in the same boat. Woke up today (9/11) and BC won’t handsfree. My map date expired 9/10.
i have had auto updates Enabled and it says none are available when i tried to force it.
C’mon @Ford Motor Company, get your tech together.
