When I turn 62 “next year” I’ll be in that exit number from Ca. Insurance rates and taxes on everything are not sustainable after you retire. Besides it would be nice to live somewhere where you don’t have to wait 6 months to see a specialist.
It’s my understanding that Government agencies can’t impose fees of fines now so if a new administration comes in Cafe standards will only be guidelines. Congress would have to pass laws to include fines. The power boost is one line I wish they would expand on as well. But it isn’t for everyone...
What I can’t understand it the technology has been around for over 20 years for AGM battery’s. My 2008 charger had one in the truck it went south after 9 years. That’s when I found out it was in the trunk. I’ve had to replace mine, charge mine, take it to the dealer over night to have it tested...
I didn’t put the in my f-150 but they came painted over black on a truck in the past and getting mountain pin strips and rock chips from others driving on the highway they looked terrible in a few years. The black plastic ones on my 18 Denali 2500 I just put shine juice on them and they look...
I agree the 5100 front with a 21/4” lift adjustment “ helps to level the truck” if desired. The 5100 rears aren’t adjusted. I bought mine from shocks surplus around 599 bucks and 300 to have the springs “OEM” put on the front struts installed and a 4 wheel alignment. I like them, much better...
Please keep this thread going, I have a 23 5.0 XLT 4x4. Have had many problems with the low battery alert and half down loaded software updates. Left the truck overnight at dealership to have them charge and test battery. 80+ mile round trip. Only to say battery is fine. Just have to live with...
My 04 z-71 extended cab went 181 k with zero problems on the motor or transmission. I hope my 23 f-150 does that good. Time will tell. Not sure I could go back to a gas GM truck after the BS they have been pulling with the deception on the motor problems and 10 speed issues. Sure all trucks...
Praying it all works out, Getting anything stolen from you always feels like more than just a financial loss but having been violated twice by the thieves then by Ford. We have all been there.
Did you contact your insurance company? They might cover the key replacement. Also even if your fob is reprogrammed my 2023 XLT has a knife key. “ a key slot to start the truck” and it opens the door. My daughter has the the Ford lariat. With a push button start. To be safe you would need the...
I have had GM trucks for years but my company trucks were Ford. The company I worked for got some GM trucks for the CD and were very sorry. The last gas GM I bought for my self was a 2004 5.3 and drove it until 2023 with no problems. Seeing the issues with GM I traded my Chevy in on the 5.0 in...
My first super cab was a 74 f-150 “I would like that one back” I have owned 4 since and loved them all. Then the kids grew up and I now have grand kids and bought my first crew in 2009 and 2 more since then and I have loved them but. It sucks when you have to try to park them sometimes. I have...
