Glad to hear yours works - you're one of the lucky ones. I've had a similar issue with my prior truck and load re-distribution fixed that. Issue that many of us are having now is that on some trucks the feature would not engage if a trailer is connected.
I've also tested towing my current...
BUMP in case anyone has been able to resolve this or at least identify specific variation where lane centering with towing is disabled. Otherwise I am getting ready to tap into tail lights and put another plug for the trailer in the back.
Mixed up my threads here - sorry. My issue is that my lane centering is disabled when towing. Figured it has similarities to blue cruise issues, and that if anyone figures out how to override the blue cruise limitation same would apply to lane centering.
I see the bluecruise logic for Ford - especially when considering liabilities. My issue is with lane keeping assist - which is (for all intended purposes) a hands-on system. Why disable it while towing? It
Easiest way to do this would be to splice into tail lights and then connect that to. Another 4 pin connector on the rear bumper. I’ll probably just disconnect current wiring at my 4 pin connector and wire that to tail light splice
Looks like the way I’m trending too. Hate to give up trailer brakes, though….. I’ve got an appointment at the stealership next week… see what they say. Hopefully a different version of software can be loaded on there… but, then I’ve also got driver side window weather stripping flutter now, too...
I couldn’t find anything about being able to address it with forscan. If anyone has a fix or workaround (other than getting a harness to tap directly into truck taillights and aftermarket brake controller) - please do share.
Yeah, I read through those and have experienced the harmonic sway with my prior trailer. It would be very noticeable at certain speeds and once it started swaying it would get progressively worse. However, I've since upgraded to a dual axle 7X12 and my prior truck had zero issues with staying...
***This is something that 2023 and newer F150 buyers need to be aware of. ***
Just upgraded from 2022 F150 that had Co-Pilot 360 to a 2023 F150 with same feature (I currently have Ford Co-Pilot 360 Assist 2.0). I use the truck primarily for light towing, and do long stretches on highways...
app has been trashed. Traded having to hold a button for 3 seconds to remote start/stop vehicle for a bunch of really useful features removed. Whatever project team conceived, approved and promulgated this update - absolutely needs to be gone. For good! ::curse: you’ve beyond missed the mark...
removing the ability to activate trailer light testing and operate zone lighting has removed about 75% of the features that I've ever used this app for. Absolute shame.
