I agree on all that- gotta say I like the 22 hood better, but everything else, just slightly still like the 19 more...
the 19 hood is tapered the wrong way for hood decals... the 22 hood is almost made for something to go there...yeah, maybe kinda 'ricer' putting stickers on it, but I liked...
its 502A but dont think it had any fancy suspension... 3.31 open/no locker(locker option I would recommend- my 19 got stuck in snow once, pulled the lock, walked out effortlessly)
mine started doing this tonight.sitting at a restaurant looked out and saw it...supposed to blink if wrong code entered 35 times, wonder if someones scanning, trying to steal it...will see if it still does it at home
need some clarification from a transmission guy/someone at ford...what exact model transfer cases are put in our trucks? a discussion came up about 4A mode- I had always assumed 4A had a open center differential in the transfer case PLUS a dog-type clutch to lock the diff in 4H modes, but where...
sorry- and kinda worried- to hear this happened again. way it sounds, when the darn thing fails the parking brake locks up, read of a couple doing it. bean counters are going to bankrupt ford, I swear. as these age this is going to be a issue.
I just dont get it- margins are huge on trucks...
only lariat and up...in the 2019 lariat, in sport mode it seriously sounds like a V8- in the 22 it just makes some sort of noise...fake or not, the impression from the drivers seat in the 19 is a really good one
ive seen cars 15 years old from ohio with less brake hose rust- thats not gonna last 5 maybe...uncoated/epa friendly coated/whatever- they need to try harder
our 19 the rears are fine, never ever had to reclose... being used to the 22, got some groceries out of the 19 the other day and - oops, sounded like i was trying to hurt it when i slammed the door LOL
wife had just got a new 96 contor demo, before remote start...one cold night, I took key off. started to warm it up/thaw ice off, locked the doors... 15 minutes later found out that year fob didnt work if running... all my other fords did/still do. had to call a repo guy to come and open the...
only a few things- biggest is a problem, the 22 fake engine sound sounds like crap- our 19 sounds like a v8, and it really takes away a lot...love the 3.5s power, had i known the 22 was gonna sound like this I'd have got a cheaper 5.0 with its weaker torque curve.
upper glove box cannot be...
nit-pic thing, but both rear doors on our 22 you really gotta slam to latch... hoped it would get better as seals got used, but 2 months old, still every time anyone gets out, I gotta go reclose the doors... is this common? door aligns ok, so dont think it needs adjusted, hate to put silicone on...
is there a bit to turn on for powered running board screen menus? curious if possible to add amp research boards with the menu control options / factory style wiring instead of amp's obd2 port plug in... if ive read correctly the older generation boards were connected thru seat module that comes...
have you tried traction control off? at the dragstrip, could brake torque my 19 to build boost... these trucks are crazy quick, low 14's/high 90's without even practicing :) bet high 13s/100 a possibility bone stock with some launch practice
