  1. If Ford called you tomorrow asking for one design change… what are you telling them

I wish I had never bought my 2022 F-150 Max tow 3.5 EcoBoost! For starters due to the Covid Fraud, Stuff I considered rather important like XM radio, and power/extendable tow mirrors were not available. The lack of XM radio is a royal P.I.T.A. Having to use Android Auto to get it is Rube...
  2. Battery under warranty?

Mine was replaced once under warranty about 18 months ago. When I complained about the messages and the "Shutting down to preserve battery power" error they did their grand "Rotunda test" and said there was nothing wrong. So they must not be able to warranty but one battery per vehicle. If they...
  3. Walmart EverStart Platinum H8 AGM Automotive Battery recalled?

Who knows, it might just have been an employee too lazy to look up the inventory and decided it was easier to give yo a line of B.S.
  4. Biggest Battery in 25 F150

I was looking at batteries the other day. I could not find any at the home improvement store where I was labeled "H8." I guess I am a specifications person. Is H8 the physical size of the battery and the "Group 49" the electrical capacity rating of it?
  5. Eco vs Normal drive mode

I also tried the Eco mode. The only thing I noticed was at highway speed and using cruise control, the cruise was not allowed to "hit the gas" nearly as hard which slowed-down accelleration.
  6. Wheel Well LINERS

It's all in the name of Corporate Profits!
  7. I Agree With Farley - Dealerships need to change

If their vehicles were more dependable and broke-down less often, they would have mechanics waiting for something to work on!
  8. I Agree With Farley - Dealerships need to change

I still believe that Ford is using cheap untested known-defective parts, such as the windshield wiper motor, axles & bolts, batteries, and now fuel pumps. The question is why it takes them so long to find quality replacement parts to resolve recalls. Are they still relying on the same company...
  9. I Agree With Farley - Dealerships need to change

It is known as gross incompetence, and I'll bet the person responsible for it is still working there. In today's world finding someone who isn't afraid to stop and say "Wait a minute that's just not right" is extremely difficult. It would delay the precious output quota if they did and shut...
  10. I Agree With Farley - Dealerships need to change

In the late 70's I worked for an AMC/Jeep Dealer in MO. This dealership sold more Jeeps than any other in the state. To get the Jeeps in the quantity they needed they also had to take AMC cars. It was not unusual for a transport to roll-up and the employees having to push Jeeps and AMC cars...
  11. I Agree With Farley - Dealerships need to change

That's the way it should be!
  12. H8 Battery Upgrade Questions

How did you do the BMS Reset without Forscan?
  13. I Agree With Farley - Dealerships need to change

Well you kind of have to use them for software glitches, reprogramming, and upgrades. Not too many independent places can do that.
  14. I Agree With Farley - Dealerships need to change

I agree! There are good car people and there are people who can "talk the talk, but not walk the walk."
