i just stopped by dealer to pick up some bolts. asked the service manager and he was very familiar with the bcm update and how they need to do it. said it only takes about an hour, "so only a couple hundred bucks". fug that.
sirs, what kind of pushback/resistance should i expect when approaching the dealer to do my BCM update? they gunna say i dont need it, or that it doesnt qualify, or just shut up and take my money and do it?
so they never fixed/updated that thing where you can't update the BCM yourself, eh? still needs a dealership to do it...? meh. i think i need to take my truck in, so i'll ask if they can do it while they have it i guess.
