After my dash rebooting for a year and half, the ultimate solution was to replace it completely (the IPC - Instrument Panel Cluster). Sometimes I could go for a couple of months and it never rebooted, other times it would reboot dozens of times in one day. It hasn't rebooted since replacement...

As much as I'd like to have the original engine hours back in place, there's no way I'm going through a painful dealership experience again. The first go-around was in September for a laundry list of warranty items, mostly related to OTA update issues, software updates, and the IPC reboot...

If the dealership has no capability to program the engine hours or mileage, how is it that the mileage reported in the new cluster is accurate (if not close)? But the engine hours was set to zero? Do they not have FORscan (or a similar tool)?

Are the previous engine hours stored anywhere in the cloud? Or is the proper / official transfer a manual process where the tech writes down the engine hours (and mileage?), and then uses it to manually update the new cluster?

Yes, they did program the mileage. Although... During the time the truck was at the dealership the ODO went from 14,266 to 14,313, or 47 miles were put on the truck while it was there. To me that seemed like a lot of miles to put on the truck while test driving it, especially since the IPC...

Thank you Jesse. I also noticed that the Engine Hours has been reset to zero, or based on my understanding of your post, that my Engine Hours stat was not transferred to the new cluster.

My limited understanding is that due to complete IPC replacement I now have an "Exhaust Filter" screen under My View, and my truck is NOT a diesel. Guessing that this something the dealership should have taken care of, and is something that FORscan can fix...

After putting up with a constantly rebooting instrument panel cluster (IPC) for the past 1.5 years (has rebooted hundreds of times), and after the dealer applying every update, patch, and software fix known, they ended up completely replacing my IPC. Time will tell if that fixes the reboot...

I'm finding the OEM coat hooks are too small, so wondering if there are any aftermarket versions (preferably color matched to Limited platinum headliner). My hangers are fatter, and the OEM hooks only hold 2 of them. Thanks in advance for any leads!

Yesterday on a 3 hour road trip my instrument cluster reset about 200 times... Almost continually at different points in the trip. :mad:

To the best of my knowledge my 15 month old 2021 F150 has yet to receive a single OTA update. Also, I can go for months without a single dash instrument cluster reset, then suddenly it resets a dozen times within a 3-4 day period.
