They were tough to get, especially with you lying across the front seats. Took me some time, but I finally got them. Ended up scratching the panel underneath some, but it's hidden anyway.
I can vouch the rawfuls. He sent me some and they worked great.
Do you happen to have that diagram by chance?
I've been kicking this idea around, and while I'm 90% confident in what is what, I have a few question marks. Would love to see your diagram.
Did you ever move forward with this project on your truck?
Anybody figured this out yet?
I would love it on my '24. I'm out and about for work quite a bit and sometimes I will take lunch in my truck. I usually find a place to prop my phone up and watch YouTube while I eat, but dang, it would be glorious to just watch it on my truck screen.
My '24 Powerboost has the exterior noise (that is required for electric vehicles).
It does not have the interior engine sound, however. My '17 3.5 King Ranch had it. Made the cabin sound like there was a V8.
Finally, somebody else with this opinion. I actually really enjoyed the Sony Premium system in my '17. Thought it sounded pretty good, had OK bass, and could hang with some higher volume levels.
The B&O in my '24 sucks. Super unimpressed with it. I can't seem to get it where I like it either. I...
Found a co-worker who can print these for me. Are you guys using just 2 of them, or 4? I thought I saw someone put 2 on the top spring and 2 on the bottom?
Curious, for those that have done this, how hard was it to install the seat heat pads? I've never tore apart a vehicle seat before. Sounds kind of intimidating.
Other than that, sound like just running wires and plugging them in. No problem on that front.
Yeah, in my quest to figure out why Ford stopped including these on newer models, I’ve come across quite a few reports of rodents chewing them up. Odd quirk, but definitely seems to be a known issue. Maybe Ford got enough complaints that they just stopped putting them on. Total guess on my part...
Gorgeous truck!!!
I was super into Minitruckin' back in the late 90s/early 00s. I had 2 Nissan Hardbody trucks that I built. Neither were super special or worthy of bragging about, but I was entrenched in the hobby and had a lot of love for the sport nevertheless. The good ole' days! lol
