The truck is just outside of its 3yr/35k mile warranty by a few months/1k miles, but I had some other repairs done (rear speakers replaced, backup brake assist recalibrated, and examining the broken OTA updates) performed under the extended warranty which required paying the deductible.
So...
I took my 2021 F150 in for service last week and told the dealer I haven’t received an OTA update since version 22192.
I showed him the modules that were needing an update based on the results from here, and he said they’d also look at any APIM update requirements.
I was pretty surprised when...
Looks like the X4TS is live on realtruck.com: https://realtruck.com/p/bak-revolver-x4ts-tonneau-cover/v/ford/f150/2021/
@Realtruck, any chance existing X4S owners can purchase the updated rails with the t-slots? Or would we need a completely new kit?
No worries, I tried turning clockwise as well to make sure I wasn’t backwards. When I did, the light started aiming lower, so I went back to counter-clockwise. Confirmed the light starts going higher, but then drops back to its downward position after about 1/4 turn.
Was able to get my driver side adjusted tonight, but no luck with the passenger side. I turn it counterclockwise, it starts to go up about 1/4”, but then drops back to where it started.
I’ve turned the passenger side close to 8 full turns now with no change. Any ideas on what may be going on?
The truck was sold by the previous owner to the dealership in July I believe, and owned by the dealer in August through September. Not planning on getting the Mongoose/FDRS yet, but need to take the truck into the dealer for some other recall/TSB work. Figured I could add this to the list as well.
Just picked up a “new to me” 2021 501A Lariat. Suspect it’s missing several OTA and module updates.
Appreciate any help tracking these down so I know how long to expect the truck to be at the dealer when I drop it off.
Thanks!
Found the one I’ve been looking at on here, strange that it lists it as a “Good” price, but maybe because it’s now only about $900 over original MSRP. Still 13k miles, but down from their original $4k over MSRP listing.
Found a similarly outfitted new Lariat 502 (w/ heated steering wheel...
Thanks all, glad to see there’s more sanity out there in other dealers than the one I’ve been speaking to.
KBB and Cars.com offered a pretty realistic range on the numbers (one even has >13k miles on it and still asking for $4k over MSRP), and I offered the higher end of that range but no...
Been looking at purchasing a CPO F-150, either 3.5L EcoBoost XLT 302 or Lariat 501/502 but curious what others have been seeing for trends online.
One dealer I’m looking at (Villa Ford) has several 2021s and 2022s all listed at least $4k over original MSRP and with at least 5,000 miles on them...
