If you look at my thread about the alpharex pros you’ll see the alpha black pros installed. I ended up swapping to the hikari 12k lumen leds before even trying out the factory halogens. They work really well, have a clean cutoff and project much more than the halogens.
I’m pretty happy with them! Only complaint/quirky thing about them is that the turn assist light turns on even when just changing lanes with the quick 3 cycle turn signal function. But overall a huge upgrade to the halogens with the alpharex pro and led swap.
Here’s a few photos. Note the white drl in the daylight will be brighter when I get the harness wired in properly. Fuse 124 isn’t working how I thought.
Just as a note, fuse 124 5A rain sensor is keyed. So I used a fuse tap and got the brighter drls working. I’ll check tomorrow during daytime if the signal brightness is affected.
I’m working on getting the drl harness installed yet tonight. But besides it being 19 degrees when I’m working on this, the install has been pretty easy overall. I forgot my multimeter at work today so I’m struggling to figure out what fuse is keyed.
One complaint so far is that the drl and turn...

Installed aftermarket LED headlights to replace stock halogens. I’ll post photos tomorrow in the daylight along with an update once I get to drive at night.
Hey all, I just finished up installing these tonight along with the tremor style grill bar on my XLT. I’m very impressed with the build quality and light output compared to the halogen in my driveway. I haven’t gotten out to drive them as I finished up at 930pm but more will be to come. I’ll get...
I’m currently in progress of deleting chrome from my Oxford white f150 as well. Found online that vivvid vinyl in close white and 3M 1080 gloss white match well. I purchased the vivvid and it is not a great match when laid atop Oxford white but it blends well when a there is a gap (bumpers...
Because it only takes 2 seconds in the case that something can be done with the numbers. I have no idea if there is any risk of having them included but would rather not find out!
I didn’t do this today, but I swapped my 301A grill out for a lariat sport grill. Looks much better is is one step towards removing the chrome. I ordered vinyl to wrap the front and rear bumpers. I’m debating ordering paintable mirror covers and handles to wrap those as well since mine are...
Well I have been pushed to this week as well. Was originally 5/24, then 6/28, and now I am here. I'm hopeful they have a steady (granted slow) semiconductor supply coming from Renesas now that they are back running at near full capacity. But we shall see if trucks continue to be built once...
Hi all, my order was placed 3/30 and initially was slated for a 5/24 build day. The most recent build day I was assigned was during the week of June 28th. Seems to me there is an awful lot scheduled during June as well. Here's to hoping they have were able to stockpile chips in KC to help...
Anyone in here wrapped chrome bumpers to match oxford white? Or has anyone wrapped them black? I'm curious what that would look like. I plan on getting the rims powder coated or new black rims, wrapping the grill surround black/grey, and wrapping the bumpers to match the grill surround.
