I can recall a procedure I ran in FDRS last year. I believe it was called onboard scales calibration. After running it, it dropped my scales to a more accurate payload.
Like many have mentioned, their scales were showing hundreds of pounds over on their scales in a stock truck without sitting...
I know mine goes into a power saving mode when I turn the truck off. I know it’s in parking mode because the charging light blinks. Most dash cams with parking mode do this so it doesn’t drain the battery. I’ve been in parking mode for 10 hours and haven’t seen any issues.
I’ve never heard of any special requirements for hybrid vehicles. I have a Vantrue N2pro with the OBD cable in my Powerboost that I’ve been using for nearly 3 years and haven’t had any issues with parking mode.
I received this update yesterday as well and didn’t see anything different. After a day it updated to show the toggles. Or it could be I just started the truck and that completed the update. One thing I noticed and I don’t think it was this update but maybe the last, every time I open up the...
I still haven’t been able to find anything on the Forscan sheets that would enable 360 at speed. One option I saw was off road views at speed in the APIM. If I get around to renewing my Forscan subscription I may give that a try.
I received this one this afternoon as well. I saw the update icon thinking it was another phantom update. Tapped for the details but nothing showed up. Opened up FordPass an hour later and it showed up. I think I received the first version of this OTA beginning of September.
I was sure I updated to IOS 5.9.0 a couple days ago with no add option but it says it updated today and now the add option for service history is showing.
That’s one thing I remember to do after filling up. The good thing is the actual miles I get out of a tank is roughly 600 miles. I’ve be hand calculating my mpgs the past year and a half and the shown mpgs and actual are off about 1.5 mpgs.
I do notice after hopping on the freeway after filling up the mpg increases. It always amazes me to see the DTE increasing or not moving at all after driving 30 miles. There was one guy on YouTube a year or 2 back that got over 800 miles on a tank. I’m sure that was the result of a lot of slow...
What kind of DTEs are you getting after filling up your Powerboost? I know DTEs can vary with driving modes and other environmental factors but if you consistently drive in normal or eco what are you getting? My driving varies from 90% short trips under 45 mph and 10% longer trips over 45 mph...
I like it. I get bad knee pain from time to time and it saves me from keeping the brakes pressed in stopped traffic. As others have mentioned, my biggest issue is the slow approach when parking nose in to a parking spot. I’ve tried to follow the manual to cancel it as I move slowly in by...
With Ford’s track record on their OTA process, I won’t count on it coming anytime soon. You’re better off taking matters into your own hands. I’m not even sure the 22s with deletes will get PTHA through OTA since an IPMA with the APA chip is required. There’s a thread for installing APA. It’s...
As I remember, the 22s never came with PTHA. I have a job 2 22 that didn’t come with it but I did add it. My APA was deleted but I replaced my IPMA with one that included the APA chip and made some Forscan changes to get the feature.
