2023 F150 Powerboost. Fully loaded (see window sticker photo) 27k miles, they’re 80% highway as I had a 110mi round trip commute when I was living in Idaho. FX4 w/ black appearance pkg. Full ceramic tint ($800), venom wheels w/ Falken wildpeak AT3W tires, 20k on them, this pkg is ~8lbs...
Frankly i considered it but in the end $800 is way better than $4950, especially when i can retain a stock appearance. Didn’t dig the frankentruck interior look, not my style. TBH I’m really considering swapping out for a 2024 silver Lariat 702 with all the goodies. Only after i move back...
Front and back seats. Does not include center console or airbags. You'll have to swap the airbags over from your current seats which only takes about 10min each. Decided to go back to my platinum seats since my OCD couldnt handle raptor seats in a non-raptor. Like-new condition, install is a...
Appreciate it, but i prefer the look of the Platinum seats especially now that the bolstering has been improved. I didnt like the fabric inserts on the raptor seats either, just not my style.
I had it at the dealer, they even went so far as a full software reboot. SInce the raptor doesnt come with power running boards there may have been a difference with the plugs under the seat, everything else worked though.
Ive yet to troubleshoot the creaking sound im getting. Recently installed Raptor seats in the truck, which are far more comfortable than the paltinum seats, but they're a bit soft for me still, and moreover, they cause the power running board to stop working. Never thought something like that...
Do you have BlueCruise? I passed on it for several reasons, the biggest being I think it's wasted for anyone living in Idaho, except if one travels the I-84 a lot, like you do. Drivers in the fast lane of the 80 MPH zone are closer to 90-100, so I was curious since BC tops out at 80 MPH...
Haha yeah i was going to mention the wind noise, out here we get a lot of high speed cross winds, that combined with 80mph speed limits, it sounds like a kazoo is playing in my ear depending on the wind angle.
Ok, @Ford.... 7K into ownership CGM/BAP Powerboost, and already the dash is creaking... If I press on the trim around the interface screen it seems to go away, only to come right back. $80K trucks shouldn't have this issue.... ever. Anyone else have this problem? This combined with my running...
Yeah my previous commuter was a 2015 Audi RS5, and also a Grand cherokee trailhawk (has the SRT seats) both had almost a perfect fit. The only way i can make the ford seats feel comfortable is if i press myself all teh way into the back of the seat, and sit almost vertically, not a posture one...
