Yeah, the speed signs on the Sync screen from Google Maps will be correct, but those don't correspond to the speed signs next to the speedometer.

I use Android Auto and Google Maps, which I think is the same data as Waze. I don't notice a difference whether or not my phone is connected. It doesn't seem like my cluster is getting speed data from Google Maps.

I don't think I have the camera to see the signs. I have driven past plenty of clearly visible speed limit signs with the wrong speed persisting on my dash.

I don't have adaptive cruise or bluecruise, so no options in the menu for cruise control that I can see to turn it off.

I think that is the problem and I am not paying to update my nav. Just want to disable it.

Because the number on the cluster doesn't match the number on the signs on the side of the road.

Is there a way to turn off the speed limit display in the cluster? Mine is wrong 80% of the time and it is just annoying to look at. I have a 2021 Lariat, no adaptive cruise or blue cruise.

Dealer said they could do the updates, but it would be 6 hours of shop time and would not be covered by my warranty. But, they are going to see if they can just replace the APIM under warranty which would take care of the updates.

Does anyone know if the Ford branded cover also blocks the camera? That would be the only reason I would want to add the camera to my truck is to be able to see into the bed with the cover folded all the way back since it blocks the view out of the back glass.

I'm gonna try the vinyl overlays on the front and rear first. It's only $30 for a set.

So what about just spraying them with matte clear from a rattle can? Will that work or eat the plastic?
