  1. Powerboost CEL P237C/Exhaust Heat Exchanger Leak Megathread

Hi .. I seem to be joining the P237C club with my 22 PB. A couple of questions ... Some other threads are saying, running in tow mode will not engage the EV system and helped someone through a long trip to avoid coolant leak? I'm couple of hours from the dealer, would I want to drive down in...
  2. 7.2KW ProPower for Off-Grid Cabin

"The biggest learning is that no 2 experts agree with each other :ROFLMAO: j/k" HEY, something we can agree on! I'm the furthest thing from an expert though. I can tell you for sure that my Magnum inverter does not bond, it expects it at the panel. I talked to Magnum today and asked if they...
  3. 7.2KW ProPower for Off-Grid Cabin

Can you explain to me how to properly install the neutral and ground please? Ignoring the ProPower altogether, when I was using my Firman generator, etc., how should that panel be wired?
  4. 7.2KW ProPower for Off-Grid Cabin

Probably makes very little difference but just so you're aware, I'm in Canada, so not looking at NEC. I don't know if CEC is nearly identical but NEC is referenced so often in these posts. I'm not in the states.
  5. 7.2KW ProPower for Off-Grid Cabin

UPDATE… I reconnected the ground at the plug and removed the ground wire from the neutral bus in the panel. The system is working. When the truth is on it works which I expected it too and it also works with the truck off, running on batteries. Is there a safety concern with this? From what I...
  6. 7.2KW ProPower for Off-Grid Cabin

If that’s the case would I be better to unbond my panel and hook up the ground wire to my plug?
  7. 7.2KW ProPower for Off-Grid Cabin

Now that I’ve confirmed I can at least get the truck to work with the system, what would happen if I hook the ground back to the plug and remove the ground from my panel at the neutral bus? The bond will be at the truck. When I’m not using the truck and running off of batteries/solar do I need a...
  8. 7.2KW ProPower for Off-Grid Cabin

Removed ground wire from the the L14-30 plug and can confirm the cabin batteries are charging and cabin AC power running from ProPower.
  9. 7.2KW ProPower for Off-Grid Cabin

Can anyone comment on this .. Is my panel bonded neutral by having the ground wire connected to the neutral bus? If I were to disconnect that big ground wire and connect it to a ground lug on the panel instead, and then run a jumper from the neutral bus to the bonding screw, I'd achieve the same...
  10. 7.2KW ProPower for Off-Grid Cabin

Ok, here are some pictures of my setup. I don't know what other info. to provide. I've gotten so many responses on this thread that while it's been helpful to learn and it's appreciated it, I don't have a clear answer of what to do and am more confused than when I made the post.
  11. 7.2KW ProPower for Off-Grid Cabin

Lol! Dealing with a bush fire between cabins most of day. Maybe a sign not to mess with electrical I dunno. I’ll post update in a bit
  12. 7.2KW ProPower for Off-Grid Cabin

I just crawled under the cabin and that big stranded wire in the neutral bus goes below the cabin and is grounded there
  13. 7.2KW ProPower for Off-Grid Cabin

Better pictures. From the inverter my two hots go into the main 60 amp breaker, neutral (blue) into the neutral bus and ground into ground screw. Is that screw on the right by my neutral bar the bond screw? How can I unbound temporarily to see if pro power will work. The ground attached to the...
  14. 7.2KW ProPower for Off-Grid Cabin

Made it to cabin tonight. I tried a few things that people had suggested throughout the week but still ground fault every time at the truck. Here’s a picture of my inverter where my generator L14 plug wires into and then wires out to my ac panel in the cabin. Panel picture as well.
