  1. Sporadic vibration/humming after 9,000 miles

Yea, I appreciate your advice though! Something I forgot to add, the truck is tuned by zfg racing to run on 93 octane. So with that said I'm trying to avoid the dealership unless I absolutely cannot figure it out. I'm 99% sure this has nothing to do with this as the truck drove great for 4k...
  2. Sporadic vibration/humming after 9,000 miles

Supercrew with the 5.5' bed and one piece driveshaft.
  3. Sporadic vibration/humming after 9,000 miles

The problem is that there are only so many parts that rotate. The driveshaft, the axles/rotors, and cv shafts. I'm not sure what else to check that fluid film would mess with. If it was a constant vibration I'd look in to the tires, but it's a pulse like vibration instead that constantly happens.
  4. Sporadic vibration/humming after 9,000 miles

Well it was looking good earlier. Unfortunately on my drive to get the kids and head out for dinner resulted in no difference than before. The random pusling vibration still persists. I really enjoyed driving this truck until now. I sure hope it's not a transmission issue.
  5. Sporadic vibration/humming after 9,000 miles

So I just took a look underneath and the driveshaft didn't look like it had any noticeable build up on it. Regardless, I took a towel to it anyways, along with wiping off the cv shafts as there was a decent amount of fluid film on them along with the boots. I took the truck out to test and it...
  6. Sporadic vibration/humming after 9,000 miles

I have a 2024 F150 XLT 4x4 with the 2.7. This truck has been driving smooth since the day I purchased it until recently last week. I took it in to get sprayed with fluid film for the winter, and on my 45min drive home I suddenly had a weird vibration occur. I never noticed it before the...
  7. TG587's 2025 XLT build.

Where did you get all of the parts to do the swap? I'm looking to do the same with mine.
  8. First transmission drain and fill.

Just drop the pan which is probably about 6-7qts (at least for the two 10R60s I've done) and refill. You'll need to get a hand pump from somewhere like harbor freight or hardware store to transfer the fluid. I don't personally know how guys get the transmission up to 215ish* to check the fluid...
  9. First transmission drain and fill.

I actually have their standard capacity pan that I had on the 24' Ranger I traded in for this F150 and kept the pan. I'll install it when the time comes to do the drain and fill which from what most people are saying will be around 30k miles.
  10. First transmission drain and fill.

If there's one conclusion I've drawn from everything I've read it's to not get a flush!
  11. First transmission drain and fill.

Oh wow, transmissions actually take that long to break in?
  12. First transmission drain and fill.

I bought a new 2024 F150 a couple months ago with 3,6xx miles on it (demo vehicle). I now have about 7,5xx miles on it and want to be proactive with fluid changes as I know a lot of material from break in can be going though everything. Should I do a drain and fill now, or wait a little longer...
  13. Yokohama Geolander At4

How would you rate them? I drive mainly on the highway and need a good tire for rain and snow.
  14. Nitto Terra Grappler G3 - Long-Term Reviews?

No fitment issues with them? I removed the rear blocks on mine as well. Has your mpg changed at all with the taller tire?
  15. Yokohama Geolander At4

Does anyone on here run the yokohama geolander at4? I don't see much on the tire except for pretty much only good reviews on simple tire and one thread on the tundra forums about them being a good tire. I've narrowed down my choice between the at4 and the nitto g3, size 275/70r18.
