I am curious if you had the cheap cardboard plate installed before you put the metal one? I bought the plate with all the bolts and nuts, a year ago and still need to install it. My F150 is a 2021 3.5L hybrid, so I'm curious if it has the same cooling hoses?

Thats what I did too... used my 40,000+ points to buy parts. Supposedly if you can lose the points if the account is dormant for year?

I am interested in what tamper proof fastener you end up using. I did a brief search and noticed there is an assortments of security bolts, etc. hopefully of a fairly hard steel. Just something that a recip saw can't cut through easily. Please share your final results... :)

Hey Ryan, I have an 2021 F-150 Lariat 3.5l hybrid.. (in Edmonton) I am going to be ordering this soon.. and trying it. I think it works on the powerboost. I have the cardboard fiber "skid plate" now, and will remove it to install this one.. The prices were all over the place when searching in...

Have any of you done any further steps to prevent the removal of the cover? ie? tack welding the bolts slightly or using security bolts? I suppose once a cat thief sees it, he won't bother?

Did you remove the cheap fiber cover (I think others mentioned this?) in order to install the steel cover? Did all the mounting holes fit?
