I have noticed the BLIS is less conservative recently. I used to be able to see the car in my mirror and the light would be on and now they're in my blind spot and it may not be on. I always look over my shoulder though or lean forward a bit to check that blind spot.
Unless that is designed to withstand a deer/elk impact, it just becomes a damage multiplier when someone does hit one.
That thing they have shown is not going to protect anything.
Same as others have stated. It isn't reliable at all. I remember it used to work all the time. Now i just use the dash button or wait till i get up to it. Doesn't seem to matter if the truck is locked or unlocked.

Not in an SL/XL Load range. LR E makes for a jarring ride with a 20" wheel. I probably wont end up switching anyhow. I still need to drop the front about an inch to get some travel back from the Fox shocks. Maybe the mpg will bump up when I get a little more aerodynamic ?
My limited offroad will be on trails around a hunting property or to drive across a harvested field to recover a deer. Not taking this truck offroad like I did my Wrangler. I may have to make the trip back to DT and the switch... I'd have been thrilled with them if I even just got 1-2mpg back...
While I did not see a reduction in mpg, I did not see an increase after reducing weight by 14lbs in each corner over my old 285/65R20 LR E KO2s. Not impressed so far with the G3s.
I'm tossing around getting the Michelin Defenders in the same size despite them having a far less aggressive tread...
