Looks fine to me.
AFAIK they are just sort of loosely pushed in place, held in by the top trim of the air dam.
If you're worried about it you might be able to put a zip tie somewhere inconspicuous for some extra peace of mind but you should be fine as long as they aren't literally falling off.
Does anyone else's F-150's rear parking brake make a metronome ticking sound when the truck is off (but not fully asleep)?
When mine are engaged it makes this sound (may have to turn up your volume):
It stops once the main relay disconnects and the truck goes completely to sleep. Starts...
Nitro Ridge Grappler 285/65R20 on factory Lariat Sport 20’s. No spacers. No rubbing, full lock (with 2” Readylift Level, but they should fit a stock suspension w/o rubbing as well)
Tires measure out essentially to 34.9/11.5 (according to NITTOs tire specs)
It looks so good. No increased noise that I can notice other than the rare wind buffet if you're cresting a hill and there's a strong wind blowing underneath for a moment (think 30mph headwind gust). MPG loss around town seems to be about 0.2mpg so far (most of my roads are 55mph roaads so that...
For reference the Nitto 285/65R20s measure 34.8"x11.5" according to the Nitto spec sheet (Stock #217350).
The 2" Readylift leaves just enough rake to do truck stuff.
Plenty of clearance at upper control arm (can fit my whole man thumb). Average of 14-15“ clearance underneath (15“ at front lip...
That was my thought after a time as well. They are some sort of PT design. The fasteners that receive the bolts only grab the thread up near the neck anyways.
I have the receipt for the work from AutoNation as well as a written guarantee for warranty coverage of the tailgate components. So it will be fine. I don't sell to private parties either, I typically sell my vehicles wholesale. But I would fully disclose anything to a potential buyer including...
I think it would probably affect a truck that's not leveled more than a truck that is. But the bigger tires you'll probably put on it after you level it will affect it more.
About to go down that rabbit hole myself.
