I believe it was rolled into the price of the prep package of later built trucks. Like the first round of 2021’s people paid $1000 for the prep package only. Later it went to $1,600 and included 3 years of Blue Cruise subscription.
I also believe you have a bad battery. In my powerboost zone lighting, interior lighting, and approach features wouldn’t work. Dealer replaced my battery. I have read numerous posts regarding a bad battery disabling auto start/stop.
Just got off the phone with the dealership. Now they want to keep my truck until at least Monday. They have a Mach-E mustang with the same issue that Ford engineering is addressing. I’ll update my thread as new information comes in.
I took mine in for a couple warranty repairs and recalls. The dealer voluntarily wanted to activate blue cruise, I didn’t even know it was available yet.
According to the app they have been actively working on my truck everyday. I feel like the dealer is really trying to get this sorted out. I was just pretty shocked when they told me they were just gonna release it back unactivated. I’m like you’re the Ford dealership, you called in Ford’s...
So I took my truck into the dealer (that I purchased it from) for a couple repairs. 12v charging system service, transmission skipping 2nd gear and slamming into 3rd, the recalls, and an oil change. They were able to make the repairs within a day or so but wanted to keep my truck longer to...
So I got my truck back and everything seems to be working great now. TCM and PCM were reprogrammed. They also replaced my battery because I had a “service 12v charging system” alert. This was causing my truck to stay in low 12v mode, I had no interior lights, approach functions weren’t working...
My 2021 Platinum PB is at the dealer right now for this exact issue. When I told them about it, all the service writers were saying it’s normal to skip 2nd gear. I explained it’s not just skipping 2nd, the truck takes off, gets stuck in neutral for a sec or 2 then slams 3rd. When they called the...
No, I don’t keep the fob in the truck and I’ve made sure to keep it far enough away not to trigger the approach sensors.
l’m thinking I’ve got a bad battery or need some type of reflash. I was just curious if anyone else was having this issue.
Is anyone still having problems with low 12v battery? My truck is constantly in this state (warning on the dash) so a lot of features remain disabled, mainly the interior ceiling lights. I’ve put the truck on a battery tender a few times which clears the problem for a day or two then it’s right...
