The can mounts on the driver's side where there's room for it. The hoses route behind the engine and connect on the passenger side as you would expect.
Sorry for the delay. I did take it to my local Ford dealer here in Leavenworth KS and they resolved the issue under warranty. I think they replaced a couple of sensors and reset the system, no further incidence.
This thread and others are full of opinions and testimonials. There seem to be 3 primary contenders: UPR, J&L, and Improved Racing. All seem to have very positive reviews. I just ordered a J&L considering their price point and reviews on build quality and customer service.
For those with J&L catch can... would there be any drawback to installing the PowerBoost version on my 3.5 EcoBoost? It looks like the PowerBoost version just relocates the can to the firewall near the brake booster which looks more natural (vs. the battery box where there is no room on the PB...

I'm really interested in buying an RSI Smartcap for my 2024 5.5 bed. Their website has different models for 2015-2020 and 2021-2024. Latest is out of stock until January, plus I'm looking at used caps to save some $$$.
What is the difference in beds from the 2015-2020 F150 that I should know...
