Slim pickings for the 5.0 in that configuration for sure. I’m glad that you found what you mostly wanted. I hope it’s a great truck for you. BTW, while I still wish that I could have found a 5.0, this PB that I have is so far excellent and has exceeded my expectations.

As a side note, I’m impressed that you found a 5.0, BAP+ Super Crew. Back in May/June I could not order one, and there were none to be found on a dealer lot within a 100 mile radius from where I am. Had to go with the PB.

True. If you have the Ford Security Package enabled, including the start inhibit and the rest, disables the ability to turn off vehicle connectivity settings. I’m not thinking this is OP’s issue, though.

Ford wouldn’t make two different console shifter assemblies. Make just the foldable for those that have the folding workspace and the rest will just have it.
