Is any one else experiencing a recent change in the behavior of this warning system? I put the first 19K on only seeing this once when I forced it to make sure it was working. This last week it’s gone off about four times in situations where it shouldn’t. Twice on open streets where no other...
It’s hilly where I live, and empty the derate pulled me down to 45mph. I can only imagine what adding an 8000 lb. trailer would do.
I was able to get a ForScan reading and had the following:
P237D- exhaust heat exchanger bypass valve’A’ control circuit low
P2C22- exhaust… valve ‘A’ position...
I’ve read through posts/forums/Google till I’m blind, and maybe I missed it, but…
has anybody actually found the cause and verified fix for this issue?
I keep getting it while running unloaded at 60-70 mph down the freeway in 65-85 degree weather. It’s intermittent, with no consistency, but the...
I believe throttle closed is throttle closed, so putting it in neutral wouldn’t save gas. Being under compression when going down hill doesn’t suck more fuel through the injectors. I wonder if this is a remnant of a presumed vacuum affect on older carbureted engines?
No idea of wattage load, but…
Power was out for 16 hours on our 3000 ft sq. house that has dozens of electronic devices and Scentsy warmers, as well as two refrigerators and one chest freezer. All lights are LED and most are on timers/sensors. Furnace, A/C, and other major appliances were off...
Bought a 12 pack of Motorcraft filters from Amazon, buy full synthetic from Costco when it’s on sale, installed a Fumoto drain valve, and drop the used oil off at AutoZone on my way to work for free. It was a cheap, clean and easy chore …. until I installed that sexy RTR front skid plate...
Along this topic line, I’ve got 360 cameras and the blank blue screen for the auxiliary connection, but no second plug on the bumper. Does anyone know if there is an open connection on the head unit, or elsewhere, that a camera could be added to? I’d like to put one underneath to see tire...
I’m always a sucker for chrome on white, but I bought the carbonized gray this time around. I’d like to try my hand at wrapping the bumpers and mirror caps. Vvivid makes a vinyl that matches, Vvivid+ Ultra Gloss Candy Charcoal Gray, that one of the other forum members posted on.
@tbinmd - thanks. Just confirmed what you said about the flat key, but I guess they never gave me keys for the tie downs. They told me that was what the flat key was for.
Ok, I think it may have been the tumbler for the console that was unneeded because I optioned the work station? I’m told that flat key (@ tbinmd) operates the tie downs in the bed utility package, but have not confirmed that.
