I really wanted to do mine too,but no such luck. I know there are a few videos out there on tapping into the hot wire in the harness To make the switch hot, not sure who makes it but there is also s jumper harness sold to do the same thing with out pulling the plug apart . One of my friends...
i went with the factory ones because of the 360 camera.. i had the boost ones and the snap on ones with previous trucks all worked well but i think you cant bet the oem ones.... look on ebay.. got a great deal on my factory ones from a area ford dealer.
here is my 2 cents.. was the dash cam oem ford.. or factory installed... if not the techs will not connect after market stuff.. i know this from experience.. we connect into a lot of stuff on f550 chassis that we modify.. if we have to send a truck into service and they need to remove it for...

Taking the camera out of the tow mirror is easy.. plastic cover comes off and is 2 small screws holding camera... to take the camera out of the regular mirror is a little more of a pain... you need to remove the mirror to get inside and remove the camera... i had a time trying not to break the...
if you have forscan change the SOC to 90% and relearn the BMS.. My truck SOC averages from 80 to 87% most of the time with sitting and short drives around town..
i only notice some of the Sirius xm art work has been updated... this update was different.. i had to install the usb then it loaded like 3 files for removal... had to delete off usb .. then load all new files... the instruction screen also changed to a different design.. also after this...
