I got my f150 in April of 2021 and OTA has never worked .. can't even enable it. I guess my APIM is wedged. I did have the dealer apply manual updates maybe 3 months ago which improved some aspects of SYNC 4. However, this was also supposed to fix the fact that I can't enable OTA. It didn't and...
Yep, the invoice is nonsensical. I'm having similar issues. Having to do a lot of research on my own because the dealer seems clueless: Lots of talk but little said. The did apply some updates manually but still can't turn on automatic OTA. Curiously, they don't seem to have documented the work...
Oy, six tries. I picked up my truck in April 2021 and it has always said no updates. Dealer did manually apply updates but the APIM is still borked in some way. Thanks for the update and glad progress was made.
I thought I had replied to this. Anyway, let me get through the new battery and battery tender and then go from there. The dealership did manually install power-up(s) in late May but it obviously didn't fix my issues. The SYNC 4 updates were nice. I may very well take you up on the offer. Thanks!
Let me get through the battery tender and new battery and go from there. The dealer just manually updated the truck in late May. No sure what power-up version I have but now I'm going to look. I have read where the updates don't fix the update page. Thanks for the offer! Good chance I'll take...
Thanks! Looks like a new battery is coming as well. If you felt the need to replace your battery with some "fancy", like a Odyssey, I would be interested in knowing. The amount of electronics on the truck is crazy.
I should add that I'm trying to eliminate a battery problem. My autostart feature stops working about three weeks after I take a long trip. Then starts working again once I take another long trip. I have a battery tender on the way. Battery checked out, according to the dealer.
