I’m using the C3X. I think the fork is called ford comfort. Doesn’t recognize stop signs, doesn’t make hard turns, etc. interstate does great. Above 30ish MPH does good as well. Unlike ford, it will recognize no lines and still keep straight where the ford would just disconnect.
I’m still here. I never got it leveled though. I tried my best to level it, drive it around to calibrate it, and it still came back as not leveled. The whole reasoning for me doing this add on was so I could use Comma AI. I’ve since hooked that up and absolutely love it. I’ve been slammed lately...
Depends on your definition of cannot clear. I no longer have warnings when I start the truck that certain things aren’t working properly. My backup cam says it needs looked at as it’s just a black screen. When I open forscan there’s still a list of DTCs that I can clear but just come back.
I’m so close…. Was able to get the adapter cruise control option selected. When I tried to initiate it though it kept saying not available. I’ll keep messing around. Anyone know of what I may have done to lose my backup camera? lol
Thanks all. It was the red retainer I never took out. Ended up taking it out and the crimped wires went right in.
Made changes per sheet and saved as “New” on forscan. Copied VIN from IPMA to CCM. Should that be everything. Turn off truck and start back up?
I’m still getting lane keeping...
Any way to check to see if the CCM connections are correct? Are those supposed to click in like they did at the IPMA? I tried but I could still pull them out. I may try again tonight but I need to disassemble the front again I guess. Any harm in just going back to original in forscan? I may...
Started doing it. What happens if some things aren’t correct. For instance on the spreadsheet it’ll mention change 4 to a 9 or a A to a C. What happens if mind isn’t a 4 or a A? Do I still need to make those changes?
Alright, backed everything up. Opened forscan, when it asked if I wanted to choose a previous profile I clicked no, it did a fresh scan. Didn’t see “CCM”. I’m assuming that means I didn’t install it correctly? I was guessing my connections into that actual module as they didn’t “click” in. Not...
I’m going to call it a night. I can’t get past this. Been researching where to find it and no luck.
edit: figured out I needed to click configure and started saving as builds. I’m watching a beginners video and they mention saving like 3 of the as builds. Am I doing that or all of them? I...
Anything I should test before putting everything back together tonight? Don’t think I’ll have a chance to mess with forscan tonight unless I need to before hooking everything back together.
