How do you fill the tank from a gas can, under the cover there is a second cap which I don't seem to be able to wedge open with the spout of the gas can.

New to the forum, just bought my first new Ford truck to do some retirement traveling after having old Fords for worktrucks. Anyone have any ideas on what I should get, I have the tow package but for some reason it didn't come with the power extending mirrors.
