I’m gonna say personally if I had a dealer mistake result in a severe overheating issue (250 degrees is severe in my mind) I would be insisting on a new engine. If it got hot enough to “melt the thermostat shut” you’ve got other damage as well, possibly even warped heads etc. Definitely not...

Interesting. Nice build. We ended up with an XLT in order to get max tow in a 157” WB truck without the blackout package. Why can’t you just order max tow on anything I wonder!?

Let’s see. A new Slate is gonna cost 28-30K in reality after options, taxes, a wrap and stuff. That comes out to about 7500 gallons of gas for my new F 150. I’m gonna do that…..buy the gas that is.

I drove my new 24 straight to discount tire and had them peal off the garbage perilli whatever’s for a new set of Michelin LTX M/S 2’s. I was able to get $300 out of the take off’s. This will be the third or forth set I have owned. For my needs you just cannot beat em, XL rating is a big plus...
