  1. Harsh Eibach ride quality

I put a set of the Eibach 2.0 on my 24 3.5 EB XLT about 15,000 miles ago. I am at stock ride height and put them on mainly to improve handling and bouncing while towing. I wanted shocks that weren’t as harsh as the Bilsteins but would sill improve towing and handling performance. In my...
  2. Eco vs Normal drive mode

Uh you sound fun! I use sport mode when I need or want a more responsive truck especially on curvy mountain roads with lots of ups and downs and also in urban situations where I need quicker response. Plus it’s just fun. But mostly I run it in normal. I use tow haul for towing and I find eco did...
  3. Rear axle & hub replacement, recall 25S82/25V512

I got mine done without a hitch. Kendall ford in Oregon.
  4. XLT to Become "ACTIVE"???

Never has and never will….this is the way son.
  5. Should I Buy A 2023 With Slight Rust

Why buy a rusted Canadian truck at all? Just hold out for something you don’t have reservations about. Me I would not buy it.
  6. Can anyone help diagnose this noise? 2.5 months into ownership and this truck is a disaster!

I’m gonna say personally if I had a dealer mistake result in a severe overheating issue (250 degrees is severe in my mind) I would be insisting on a new engine. If it got hot enough to “melt the thermostat shut” you’ve got other damage as well, possibly even warped heads etc. Definitely not...
  7. Supercrew longbed 157 Popularity

I haul my ATV in the bed and tow my travel trailer so the 157 is a must have.
  8. New 24 XLT leaking windshield (wind noise?)

Loving my new F150 XLT (303a). Really pleased so far at 6500 miles. except for this dash rattle! Well I thought it was a dash rattle, driving me crazy. Could not figure out where it was coming from, plus it would come and go…..kind of a ticking sound on the drivers side. Finally realized it was...
  9. Help with Michelin Defender LTX Decision

I went straight to discount tire and traded the stock garbage ($300 trade in) on a set of XL rated Michelins. This is the 4 th set if these I have owned on various trucks. Looks are boring but an excellent tire for towing, daily driving, great in ice and snow, meh in mud, decent on gravel dirt...
  10. We are officially in the club - we ordered today!!!

Interesting. Nice build. We ended up with an XLT in order to get max tow in a 157” WB truck without the blackout package. Why can’t you just order max tow on anything I wonder!?
  11. Stock 2024 XLT with Falken Wildpeak AT4 275/60R20

Had a set on my 23 Silverado 1500. Low noise at first but started singing after about 20K. Great traction, looks and handling but too loud for me.
  12. SLATE Truck Debuts as Modular Pickup & SUV. Priced Under $20K With Incentive

Let’s see. A new Slate is gonna cost 28-30K in reality after options, taxes, a wrap and stuff. That comes out to about 7500 gallons of gas for my new F 150. I’m gonna do that…..buy the gas that is.
  13. Michelin Defender LTX MS2 or BFG Trail Terrain T/A or Bridgestone Dueler A/T Ascent??

I drove my new 24 straight to discount tire and had them peal off the garbage perilli whatever’s for a new set of Michelin LTX M/S 2’s. I was able to get $300 out of the take off’s. This will be the third or forth set I have owned. For my needs you just cannot beat em, XL rating is a big plus...
  14. Pretty Impressed with these 14th gen F150’s! Very few serious mechanical issues

Been a GM guy all my life but after dealing with major transmission issues on my 18 6.2 Denali and engine failure due to lifter issues on my 23 Silverado 6.2, i decided to try a new F 150. Just picked up a left over 24 XLT 3.5 ecoboost. I am super impressed so far. Gonna tow our 7000 lb travel...
