I had the same concern with it removing the CCD, but all I could find when I was looking was FX4 so I went with it. I'm very happy, it drives well, and no you can't tell. Go for it.
They're already drying up. I struggled HARD to find a 702 platinum one month ago, and king ranches were even harder to find. And I was near Detroit where F150's are plentiful. Essentially, start calling as many dealers as possible and be ready to put down a deposit to buy sight unseen.
I just got a 24 platinum 702a. The interior is nice, but I don't like the plastic looking aluminum. I like the wood in the 21-23 platinums, anyone have experience with changing this out? Or the part numbers?
Thanks
It's a color that was used previously for '21 and '22 model years, so there are a ton of pics on the internet if you search "Space white f150". But it's a mix of white with a hint of blue in certain lights. Very unique and I liked it a lot more than avalanche
The platinum is the same price by MSRP, but that lease price is insane!!! I got my platinum 702a for about $740/month. For the new one they want over $1000/month! I know there aren't incentives, but the 2023 Platinum I ordered (delivered in november that i didn't pick up), was also $740/month...
I think with those scenarios the dealers would try to fight for a deposit you placed, because luckily they can't force you to come in and sign paperwork, go through a credit app, and drive the truck home! I will say, never put a deposit down to order an F150.
I've canceled 2 ordered due to the parts restrictions in 2023. No one cares, the dealer still gets a truck that will sell. Just tell them you are backing out, there is no downside.
Reviving an old thread here, but how did you like them? I have the same debate right now: stock blizzak's on 20 inch wheels or buy some 17's, since the 18 inch only have the LT blizzaks.
Is the 14 really better than the 18? I listened to an 18 back to back with the platinum 8, and the 18 was better than the 8 speaker.
Also there are NO KRs available and I don't want to wait until November to get a custom build delivered.
