I have assembled more short blocks than I can remember. Again, it does not take 1500 miles to seat rings. Good luck to ya babying your engine for 5000 miles. If it was built correctly, yes, that includes machining and assembly, it should be good to go in less than 100 miles.

It used to come stock but Ford discontinued it for the 23 year.

I junked the intake stuff. Still have the throttle body and injectors however if you need them.
